twitter

I find a quick scan daily is about all you need to use twitter effectively. These folks that post all the time make that a priority for them. I think the ones that post like 50 times a day are working towards creating a network and getting their names out maybe??? I think you can search your posts for certain subjects. Go easy in the twitter I think it might be a controlled substance? LOL

  1. I agree. Sitting at a computer all day is not exactly what I had in mind for the summer (although that's what it has entailed so far). I have to admit, though, I have learned tons in the past week and, while my confidence level rises and falls, it is definitely on its way up.

  2. I agree as well. It is alot to take in, but like anything else, keep what works for you and let the other stuff go. It has been quite the learning curve so far ...

  3. haha, I agree with your observations Jasper. I like the last sentence. Did you see the video I posted on my blog about "How Twitter Ruined My Life" from Youtube? it's pretty funny.

  4. While I agree with all of you; I tend to empathize with the utility of the monster.

How many kids can keep their fingers from texting? I am sure you have all become experts of picking out the kid who can text in his desk with the phone in his pocket, while writing with his pen in the other hand. Although we are sitting at giant computer screens, the next generation is figuring out how to get all of this onto hand held devices (hello, iphone)!

I know I had an easier time setting up my twitter because I had already dabbled the last six months. ... I think things will smooth out if we try to stay current!

  5. Once you have a network established, a quick skim is all you need. But, you should try to be more interactive as you are building your network!

Yes - Twitter should be a controlled substance...it can be very addictive.
